Obion County Backpack Program

The Obion County Backpack Program is a nonprofit organization that uses 100% of its donations to purchase food for school age students to help alleviate child hunger by providing hungry children with nutritious and easy to prepare food at times when other resources are not available such as on the weekend and school vacations. Currently, First Baptist Church of Woodland Mills provides food for nearby Lake Road Elementary School. Bags are packed once a month and are given to the school to be handed out every week during the school year.

 Numbers 3:38 (KJV)
But those that encamp before the tabernacle toward the east, [even] before the tabernacle of the congregation eastward, [shall be] Moses, and Aaron and his sons, keeping the charge of the sanctuary for the charge of the children of Israel; and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.
